KIIT Promises to Support Budding Enterprenures

Mr.Achyuta Samanta, founder of KIIT, with the group of their old students on the occation of alumni meet held at Bengaluru.

Bengaluru, October 4 : “Bhubaneswar-based Kalinga Institute of Industrial Training (KIIT) is going to support upcoming entrepreneurs, by grooming them in all aspects to start with new business and help them to get financial assistance.” Promised Mr.Achyuta Samanta, founder of KIIT. He also mentioned that he provides complete support to almost 30 to 40 startups every year.
     KIIT alumni meet held at Novatel Hotel on Sunday, is the sixth such meet in Bengaluru,The Silicon Valley of India.Mr. Achyuta Samanta had specially flown from Bhubaneswar to be amidst his student crowd. He said he has been travelling across the country meeting his alumni and feels thrilled as to how the students passing out of Bhubaneswar campus were making it big not only in India but also overseas.The grand alumni meet will be held on January 26th,2016 in the campus of KIIT, Bhubaneswar which involves award presentation for Best Alumni.
     It was a special meet with 300 people celebrating 'home coming' as they got a chance to recreate campus ambience by meeting up old friends and reminiscing college years. KIIT  now joined the league of IITs and IIMs to have a pan-India alumni network. Most of the students who had successfully passed out of KIIT recently had turned up for the alumni meet as successful entrepreneurs. . The alumni meet was not just sharing old memories but also looking at how the Kalinga campus had empowered them to stand on their feet and create a name for themselves in Bengaluru.
    Sugat Nayak, Regional Head(India) of Linguavista which is a language and business services provider,explained that his company focuses in the area of translation services, transcription, interpretation, video dubbing, multilingual social media management, subtitling, proofreading, content development and linguistic consultancy.
     Ankit Poddar, Founder and CEO of  HookedUp presently doing his MBA at IIM Bengaluru said Hookedup is a one stop junction for all your information needs relating to love, relationships, health, lifestyle, trending topics and much more! It updates users with all trending videos uploaded round the globe.He also announced the launching of specially created app in the month of November.
     Vikas Bhagat, Co-founder of Indofash which is an e-commerce brand in women ethnic wear. It brands unorganized natural fabric arts like bagru prints, tassar and eri silk, kanjivaram silk, paithani and many more under one platform.
